Kath’s bakeshop is Auburn’s hidden gem—and a must stop! Everything they make is so delightful, you’ll keep coming back for more. It’s nearly impossible to pick a favorite—I just wish I had snapped a photo before my boys devoured all the yummy treats! We will definitely be coming back for more whenever we’re in town.
I'm so glad they finally have a store front so I don't have to wait until markets anymore! The bread bites have the best texture of soft pandesal and Hawaiian rolls, the coco apple crumble, and the biscoff cookie are my favorites. Reminds me of home!
A must try!!! Stop everything and go! They’ve got the best cinnamon rolls in town, hands down. The Ube Cinnamon Roll is a whole experience, and the Ensaymada? It’ll make you forget your name 😂😋. Filipino treats done right!
Kath’s is THE BEST- our favorite sweet and savory bakery, from the turon lattes, to chicken adobo buns, to the brown sugar bread bites and pandesal! Taking a bite feels like home and there’s always something light, yummy and new to try :)
kath, i don't know what you put in these ube brownies, but i bought one at the farmers market yesterday and i found myself back there this morning. i can taste the kindness and whimsy of this store's aura in every bite. The gooey fudgy texture is like nothing i've had before, and it stays that way warmed or not! I tried the ube latte and adobo chicken bun as well and they were wonderful. You've really got something special, Kath. I feel so humbled and lucky to live in the same time as the Ube Brownie from Kath's Bakeshop in Auburn Alabama.
I absolutely LOVE Kath’s! I found her at the Auburn City Market a few years ago and now that she has a brick and mortar, I can get her treats anytime I want! Every single thing I have had that she does is so good! 10/10 would recommend!! You will not be disappointed!

The cinnamon roll is just as impressive. It’s beautifully baked, soft all the way through, and topped with a smooth, creamy frosting that pairs perfectly with the warm cinnamon swirl inside. Both treats taste like they were made with care, and they’re definitely the kind you’d want to enjoy with a cup of coffee by the Christmas tree. And oh yes, they serve coffee as well to go with these treats. Highly recommend! 🎄✨
